Jerry Unger here. The goal with our FAQ Section is to take some of the IT terms that you hear, such as “The Cloud”, or “On Premise”, “SQL”, or “VPN”, etc. and make them understandable. Hopefully our explanations will help you to decide which ones you may want to use at your company. IT people are like any other technician, mechanic, or specialist. They will recommend that which they know, often times, without taking into account what is actually needed by the client.
We have assembled a number of FAQs explaining in plain language, many of the terms and technologies. We attempt to explain what they are and their purpose. We then get into more detail as to where and when to actually use these technologies in your particular business. Often we reference other articles or information from sources to back up our thought process.
